The Opportunity

Arize Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced Senior Member Advocate to serve members in our branch retail environment. This role evaluates and assists new and existing members with their financial needs, provides appropriate product and service solutions, and performs essential branch functions involving new accounts, deposit products, remote services, and member transactions.

What You'll Do

• Build relationships with members by listening carefully, assessing financial needs, and recommending appropriate credit union products and services.
• Assist members with opening and closing accounts, account questions, transactions, and problem resolution within established authority.
• Provide knowledgeable support for deposit products, remote services, and other credit union products and services.
• Conduct member outreach and participate in sales development activities, branch promotions, and other activities that support team goals.
• Educate members on available products and services to deepen their relationship with the credit union and make appropriate referrals.
• Resolve routine and complex member issues accurately and effectively, taking ownership and following through to completion.
• Monitor and manage branch cash needs and maintain appropriate records and required reports.
• Approve IRA-related forms, prepare monthly required minimum distributions (RMDs), handle requests from the IRA partner, and complete year-end IRA tax reporting.
• Support the credit union's service culture, policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3-5 years of similar or related experience.
• Working knowledge of regulations related to credit union deposit products and lending, including Reg E, Reg CC, Reg D, and the Truth in Savings Act.
• Strong member service, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with diplomacy, tact, and discretion.
• A collaborative approach, strong follow-through, and a commitment to accurate, professional service.
