Senior Member Advocate (Universal Banker / Teller) 

Arize Federal Credit Union is looking for a Senior Member Advocate (Universal Banker / Teller) to join our Benner Pike branch team.

The Opportunity

This is a relationship-driven role within our retail branch environment. The Senior Member Advocate serves as a trusted resource for members by assessing financial needs, opening and servicing deposit accounts, resolving concerns, and identifying opportunities to strengthen member relationships.

You’ll play a key role in supporting branch productivity goals, participating in outreach and relationship development efforts, and ensuring every member interaction reflects our service standards.

This position also supports specialized deposit services, including IRA processing when needed, while maintaining compliance with credit union policies and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Do

  • Build strong relationships with members by listening carefully and helping them find the financial solutions that best fit their needs
  • Open and service deposit accounts, including checking, savings, and certificates
  • Assist members with everyday transactions and ensure they have a smooth, positive experience in the branch
  • Help members learn and feel comfortable using digital banking, mobile services, and other self-service tools
  • Resolve member questions or concerns and turn challenging situations into positive outcomes
  • Identify opportunities to introduce members to additional credit union products and services that support their financial goals
  • Participate in branch outreach efforts, promotions, and relationship-building activities within the community
  • Support branch operations and cash handling while keeping everything accurate and organized
  • Assist with specialized services such as IRA accounts when needed
  • Stay current on credit union policies and deposit regulations to ensure members receive accurate information and service


What You’ll Bring

  • 3–5 years of similar or related financial services experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong knowledge of deposit regulations (Reg E, Reg CC, Reg D, Truth in Savings)
  • Experience with IRA processing preferred
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • A team-oriented mindset and positive attitude
